Pattern: Urchin by Ysolda Teague
Yarn: Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, Claret, One skein
This is definitely one of my favorite projects ever. It's gorgeous. It's a simple garter stitch, and while the idea of wedges and grafting (I think of skin personally) is fairly intimidating (at least to a n00b like me, it is) it ends up being pretty easy. The directions are clear and well written, so it's not a total fright. The yarn is soft and warm. The third photo is more color accurate
The best part is it makes me look French. I prefer wearing mine with a bright red peacoat (to brighten up those dreary northern winters) and a teal blue scarf. It's warm enough :)
