Part 4: A Sleeve and a half and Body

And oh yeah, I started writing notes on the pattern. Should've started doing that earlier, so that I wouldn't be forced to recalculate things and write them on Posts-its and promptly lose them.

Right now, I'm oddly obsessed with the ocean. To be specific, I am thinking of an Arctic Ocean (no, not Whale Wars) and old school sea captaining. Think Moby Dick. It makes me want to crank out a new sweater and scarf, for sure. Potential knitting projects once I finish this sweater?

Rearrange

There's going to be lots of fun new headers and such going up here at Related By Delusion. Considering I just got my hands on Adobe Photoshop (which I highly recommend, and also believe is one of the most difficult programs I have ever encountered and was made by the devil's spawn) I've been messing around with graphics, and learning a ton about techie shtuffs. So enjoy the new header fun and whatever else may appear!

In the mean time, lament this loss of the Sea Shepherd's Batmobile to Japanese whalers. SAVE THE WHALES.

The Forest City

Over the weekend, I went to visit Cleveland on a quick day trip.

We visited the Cleveland Museum of Art. Their prehistoric galleries were all closed, but everything else was open. I got to see one of the panels for Water Lilies (no photos because of their rules sadface)and the amazing Thaw Collection of American Indian art.

Restaurant row, located in the Tremont neighborhood. We went to Lola, which was simply fantastic. The restaurant is owned by Michael Symon from Iron Chef, and the food was beautifully presented and of course absolutely delicious.

Fifteen Minutes of Fame

I love Andy Warhol. He may have been a weird, strange looking man who might've been off his rocker, but that doesn't stop me from loving him. My wish is to have a Warhol painting of myself (I have to settle for my Mac's Pop Art setting in Photo Booth)The ever iconic Marilyn Monroe.

I've actually been inside Silver Clouds. Beyond awesome. If you ever get a chance to go inside the Andy Warhol Museum DO IT. You will not regret it. It's such a great look inside his life, and it's basically like a giant 60's disco party. They have a bunch of amazing art there, and they have some of his (unopened) Time Capsules they've been archiving. A few have been put into display cases (Box 31, specifically is there)

Photographs, Not Paintings

Sue me, but I prefer photographs instead of paintings. I'm a nut for photographs actually. And makeup too. Which is why I HIGHLY enjoy the collaboration between MAC and Marilyn Minter. It's called Marilyn Minter for MAC, and I believe it's out in stores (or at least online.)

Marilyn Minter is a photographer who works and lives in New York City.

Her style consists of photos that are the 'messy' side of glamour. Her photos feature up close shots of made up eyes, lips, and toes.

I absolutely love her photos a few of them are rather...strange, but some are just beautiful.
